The Kitchen Guy began with Avi, a master carpenter, taught by his father, whose craft spans the many facets of architectural millwork and bespoke jointrey. As his reputation grew, so did the vision: kitchens that aren’t just functional, but built to be lived in and loved.
His younger brother, Asaf, known to our community as @TheKitchenGuy, joined the team bringing an eye for design and a talent for storytelling. Asaf became the creative force behind our social media presence, sharing the transformations, the layouts, and the countless details that go into every renovation. Through his lens, followers didn’t just see finished kitchens, they saw the craft behind them.
As the brothers’ work gained recognition, they brought on a third generation: Ori, Avi’s eldest son. Together, the three partnered to open TheKitchenGuy’s first retail showroom in Manhattan’s premier interior design district a space where clients could finally experience the quality and craftsmanship in person.
The response was clear: this was only the beginning. The Kitchen Guy has since expanded with a second showroom in the Village of Cedarhurst, conveniently located near JFK Airport, to better serve clients across the North Fork and South Fork of Long Island.
Today, The Kitchen Guy is a recognizable name in the design world, known for helpful tips and tricks, and for showcasing the beautiful spaces we’ve had the privilege to build. From our roots in millwork to two thriving showrooms, our mission hasn’t changed: creating kitchens that reflect how people actually want to live.
